Before Photography...

After graduating high school, I had no idea what I wanted to do in life. Who does, right? I went to Arkansas Tech University to get my teaching degree. I thought I wanted to teach Middle School Science. WRONG. I then got my certification to be a veterinary assistant. I worked at a few local vet clinics... found the love of my life... got married and thought I had found my calling. Then my world was flipped upside down. My parents decided to travel, yikes. So that meant I got to take over my moms daycare. I watched preschool kiddos for almost 4 years.... THEN BOOM Covid. During Covid my husband and I sold everything we owned and traveled the country. I researched and stressed then researched some more. I had no idea what career path I was going to take when we got back home. My husband and my mom both suggested photography! I took pictures of all the rescue pets at the vet clinic I had worked for. I took all the pictures for the kids and their families while I ran the daycare. It was a hobby that I never thought could be more... boy was I wrong. Photography has become my dream job. I have never felt more at peace. I cannot wait to see where this photography journey takes me, because I'm in for the long ride!! My husband and I just welcomed our first baby to the world! With all the love and support from my clients, I will be able to provide the life I've always dreamed of for my family.
